Kooringal is approximately 27km from Brisbane by private boat or travel via the Mi Cat Vehicular Ferry leaving from Fishermans Island, or by the Amity Trader Vehicular Ferry leaving from Victoria Point directly to Kooringal. Access to Kooringal can only be achieved by 4x4 vehicle as Moreton Island is a sand island.
