Applying for a Rental Property

To apply for a rental property through our office, click on the application image or this link.

Fill in the application with your details, ensuring that all sections relevant to you have been completed. Once completed, sign the necessary Privacy Statement and Acknowledgements on the last three pages. Please be aware that failure to complete and or sign the application in full may delay your application being processed or result in you missing out on the property.

To assist us in processing your application as fast as possible, we recommend the following:-

  • Submit your application with ALL the relevant supporting documents which are outlined on the top right hand corner of page one. If you are unable to provide us with the requested supporting documentation, contact the office for further advice.

  • Ensure that all relevant pages are signed.

  • Complete all sections regarding rent per week, preferred lease term and commencement dates.

  • Contact your current landlord, agent or selling agent and advise them that we may contact them for references on you. Also advise that you authorise them to provide us with the information we request to help process your application sooner.

  • Ensure that the contact person for your employment verification has the authority to confirm your employment details including income amount. We also recommend you contact this person and advise them that we may call to confirm these details.
  • If you are self employed, contact your accountant to advise them that we will be calling them to verify income and other business details.
  • Attach a supporting cover letter which outlines any special circumstances relating to your application.
  • If you are applying for a rental property and have pets, please include a current photo of all pets.

As a general rule, the more information you can provide us with, the faster we can process your application and the more chance you have of your application being approved.

Once an application has been submitted, we will aim for it to be processed within 24 hours. Please keep in mind that processing times can be delayed in some instances for differing reasons. These reasons include waiting on information and returned references from current agents, landlords or selling agents and in some cases, difficulties in contacting the owner for final approvals. Once an application has been approved by an owner, we will verify the applicants' employment details then contact you to discuss the next step in securing the property if you have been approved. You will be automatically kept up to date via text messages, emails or phone calls as to the progress of you application at each stage of processing.
